Great New Art Prints from Michael L. Peters
Regular TGR contributor Michael L. Peters has for sale two fine looking prints featuring artwork
that originally appeared in
TGR.  One is the Conan print shown above, which is a colorized version
of the first plate of Michael's "Beyond the Black River" portfolio that appeared in
TGR #11 and the

Howard Days and a Sad Anniversary
Today, June 11th, is the 72nd anniversary of Robert E. Howard's untimely death.  However, as has
been the case since the early 1980's, Howard fans from all over the world will gather at the house
where he lived and died to celebrate his life and writings this weekend.  So be sure and read one
of your favorite Howard stories today and remember the amazing raconteur from Cross Plains.

New Conan Hardcover with Frazetta and Brom Paintings
Coming in September from Underwood Books is …And Their Memory Was a Bitter Tree, a collection
of Conan stories by Robert E. Howard, with art by Frank Frazetta and Brom, a Foreword by Arnie
Fenner and an Afterward by H.P. Lovecraft.  This volume features a stunning cover painting of
Conan and Belit by Brom, a color map of the Hyborian realm, another color painting by Brom, not to
mention a number of Frazetta’s seminal Conan paintings. It looks like a beautiful book, which is
just what you would expect form the Fenners and Underwood.
